Michael Solomonov is the executive chef and co-owner of Zahav, an Israeli restaurant in the Old City area of Philadelphia. Zahav, which is the Hebrew word for gold, has won numerous awards and last year Solomonov was named Best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic region by The James Beard Foundation.
